Jacob and Steve, appearing as a duo for the first time will be bringing to the stage their highly treasured National Reso-Phonic guitars. These guitars are very unusual in these parts and produce a thicker resonance that is both metallic and pleasingly warm. They were originally designed in the early part of the 20th century to produce additional volume in the days before amplification. Jacob and Steve have been playing together formally and informally for years sharing their appreciation for boutique pedals and unusual instruments. Applying new sounds to traditional and original music, Jacob and Steve invite you to join them for a special evening of songs drawing from the wells of Americana with a fresh new approach.
